Exercise of the Day

Seated Cable Row

Beginner
Cable Machines
Latissimus Dorsi, Rhomboids, Trapezius, Biceps
3 sets x 12-15 reps

How To Do It

  1. 1Sit at the cable row station with your feet placed firmly on the pads and knees slightly bent. 2. Grasp the handle attachment with an overhand or neutral grip. 3. Extend your arms fully while keeping your back straight and chest up. 4. Pull the handle toward your lower abdomen by squeezing your shoulder blades together. 5. Pause for a second at the peak of the movement. 6. Slowly return the handle to the starting position under control.

Form Tips

  • •Avoid leaning too far back or using momentum to swing the weight. Focus on pulling with your elbows rather than just your hands to better engage your back muscles.

Daily Feature

Workout of the Day

Pyramid Training

Clarence Park Pyramid Progression Strength Session

Intermediate
50 minutes
Full Body

Pyramid training involves increasing resistance while decreasing repetitions as you progress through sets, which allows you to safely warm up while challenging your strength limits. This method is highly effective for both hypertrophy and neural adaptation, ensuring your muscles are pushed toward failure in a controlled, progressive manner.

Warm-Up

5 minutes light cardio on the Rower or Cross Trainer followed by dynamic movements: arm circles, leg swings, and bodyweight squats.

Cool-Down

5 minutes of static stretching focusing on quads, hamstrings, chest, and lats, plus light walking on the Treadmill to bring the heart rate down.
